West Ham are ensuring they sign Carlos Bacca before allowing Enner Valencia to leave the club.
The Daily Mail are reporting that the Hammers will not agree to Valencia’s departure until they confirm the signature of the Milan forward.
Valencia is set to have talks with Lazio over a loan move to Serie, with an £11million fee in place for next summer. The forward cost West Ham £12million in 2014, and scored four goals in each of his two seasons in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old, who scored twice recently for Ecuador in the Copa America, only managed to play in 19 league fixtures under Slaven Bilic last season, compared to 32 fixtures in his debut campaign under the management of Sam Allardyce.
But Valencia will depart the club once the Hammers confirm Bacca, who has netted an incredible 77 league goals in the last 4 seasons across various divisions.
Barca only joined AC Milan last summer, and went on to score 18 Serie A goals.
