Juventus are keen on signing West Ham star Dimitri Payet this month, according to reports in Italy.
Sports Witness claim Tutto Sport are reporting that the Serie A champions will move in for the Hammers’ MVP, after a sensational debut season in London. The Frenchman not only created goals but finished themselves, netting 9 league strikes, helping the club qualify for the UEFA Europa League.
Juventus borrowed Juan Cuadrado last season on loan, and with a return to the club looking unlikely, the Italians have now turned their attention to Payet. West Ham are concerned that the midfielder could be tempted to move to a UEFA Champions League team, who are considering an offer between €40m-€50million.
Manchester City’s Samir Nasri may prove to be a cheaper alternative, who could cost less than €25million, potentially half the price a move for Payet would charge.
Payet was named in the Premier League PFA Team of the Year last season, as well as receiving the Hammer of the Year award from the club.
