West Ham are thought to be eyeing up a move for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette this summer, reports the Mirror.
Lacazette has previously stated his intention to one day feature in the Premier League and the Hammers, as reported, are keen to bring him to London. West Ham’s strikers have struggled to live up to the quality in the rest of their side and it is felt that a top quality centre forward would be the final piece in the jigsaw.
The Mirror report that the Irons would have to pay around £20 million for the French striker and it is thought that the Frenchman is only interested in a move to a Champions League club after turning down a move to Newcastle in January.
Both Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with the Lyon man in the past and there is the potential for a bidding war if several clubs move for the striker this summer.
