West Ham United are keeping tabs on Manchester United outcast Anders Lindegaard, according to reports from TalkSport.

The Dane, who is understudy to Spaniard David De Gea, has failed to make a concrete impact at Old Trafford this season and is set to look elsewhere for regular first team action, with a summer move away from the club more than likely.

Lindegaard hasn't made an appearance since his December to forget, having let in three goals away at struggling Reading and it's put West Ham on high alert for his signature. The 28 year old still has a contract till 2016 with the table toppers but sees his future elsewhere with Sir Alex Ferguson unlikely to stand in his way.

Current West Ham No1 Jussi Jaaskelainen signed for the club in July on a one-year contract with a view to a second season at Upton Park. But with the Finnish keeper reaching the age of 37, West Ham will be looking to trade their keeper in for a younger model sooner, rather than later.
