Sergio Canales's agent has stressed his client will be staying at Real Madrid, despite reported interest from West Ham.
Canales has struggled for action since his summer move to the Bernabeu and boss Jose Mourinho is willing to allow the 19-year-old to move on.
West Ham boss Avram Grant and Bolton chief Owen Coyle have been heavily linked with a January swoop the former Racing Santander midfielder.
Racing Santander are keen to bring Canales back to El Sardinero, while Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon have also been credited with an interest.
However, his representative has been quoted as saying: "I do not want the player to leave Real Madrid."
Despite Canales' agent insisting he is keen for his client to remain in Madrid the transfer may be taken out of his hands, with reports suggesting Mourinho is ready to cash in on a number of his fringe players as he continues to rebuild Real.
