West Ham to boost attack with move for Roma star

West Ham United are considering a move to sign Edin Dzeko from Roma in order to increase his options in attack, according to reports from Fichajes.

The 29-year-old only moved to the Serie A during the summer on loan from Manchester City before later signing on a permanent deal due to an appearance clause in his contract.

Manager Slaven Bilic is struggling to keep star striker Andy Carroll fit and could turn to the Bosnia and Herzegovina international to reinforce his squad.

Apart from the injury to Carroll, the Hammers are also looking to continue their efforts to finish with a European spot and would be boosted by the experience of Dzeko.

If the club can finish the current campaign with a place in Europe, Bilic will be hoping he can lure the striker back to the Premier League for the upcoming season.

He has already featured 27 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far scoring six goals while managing to provide another two assists.
