West Ham have turned their attention back to Toulouse forward Wissam Ben Yedder with their proposed swoop for Carlos Bacca on the verge of collapse, according to reports from Get French Football News.
The Hammers have endured a difficult summer in terms of chasing attacking options, with Alexandre Lacazette having proven impossible to obtain despite a club-record bid and Michy Batshuayi having joined Chelsea.
And reports claim that the Londoners have now moved on from the AC Milan man, with Ben Yedder back on their radar.
The 25-year-old was a target for the Irons last year, and has since impressed with 17 Ligue 1 goals in a Toulouse side that only narrowly avoided relegation.
Ben Yedder was thought to be on the verge of joining Sevilla, but a change in management at the Europa League champions derailed the transfer, and West Ham are said to be one of a host of clubs in negotiations for him.
A skilful, pacey forward, the former France U-21 international may be a more attainable target than some players the Olympic Stadium side have chased in recent months.
