Italian duo Bologna and Lazio are showing an interest in Wigan striker Franco Di Santo, who could be on the move in the summer.
The Argentina international striker is due to fall out of contract in the summer and will be available on a free transfer unless Latics can tie him down to a new one.
Di Santo is not the only player who needs his future resolving but boss Roberto Martinez has put all talks on hold while the club battle to stay in the Premier League.
Latics will have to stay up to have any chance of keeping Di Santo, but even then the player may still decide to walk away for nothing with a move to Serie A a real possibility.
However, Martinez has bigger concerns at the moment and is focused on trying to keep the club in the top flight, something that was not helped by Aston Villa’s 6-1 win over Sunderland on Monday night.
