Tottenham Hotspur face competition from Wolfsburg in their chase to sign Kamil Glik from Torino in the upcoming transfer window, according to reports from talkSPORT.
The 27-year-old is being eyed by manager Mauricio Pochettino as a potential replacement for Younes Kaboul, who is set to depart White Hart Lane at the end of the current campaign.
Spurs sent scouts to watch the centre-back in Torino’s 2-1 victory over Serie A leaders Juventus, while Wolfsburg also had representatives keeping an eye on the player.
He has been very impressive for the Italian outfits this season, and is being targeted by both clubs as they hope to reinforce their back line.
The Lilywhites are still in contention for the fourth spot, but is likely to miss out as Pochettino begins planning for the new campaign.
Despite being a defender, Glik is currently the top scoring centre-back from all five top tier leagues in Europe, with a current tally of eight goals in 33 appearances.
