Barely a day passes without an update surrounding Alexis Sanchez and his Arsenal future, and the latest to come out of the north of London, or Chile, is that the player has revealed he’s “happy” in London with a “winning” team:

“I am happy in London and I hope to finish my contract.

“I like to stay in a city and in a team, but in a team that is a winner, that has a winning mentality.

“I’m 28-years-old, I still have a lot ahead of me. I am a player that takes great care of myself.”

These are the words of Sanchez speaking to El Grafico in his homeland while away on international duty, and they are more cryptic than they may seem.

The immediate leap was that he wants to move to Chelsea who are, according to The Guardian, keen on him. However, the attacker didn’t actually say he wants out, suggesting that he’s ready for a PR battle that may indeed end up in him heading across the city or pushing the Gunners into buying big name players to convince him to stay.

Who really knows what’s going on? Anyway, we’ve dissected the whole saga below for your viewing pleasure…
