Watch: CR7 Heaven for Man United

If the best player in the world wanted out of his club and he already had a long, successful history with yours, what would you do? On the contrary, officials at Manchester United aren’t convinced a move for Cristiano Ronaldo represents good business.

Their primary concern is becoming involved in the media circus surrounding his future. They’ve clearly forgotten about the atrocious Paul Pogba hoardings at Old Trafford last season, whipping the British press into a frenzy, not to mention all the drama Jose Mourinho causes in the media.

Another stumbling block is of course the hefty fee it would likely take to re-sign Ronaldo. But assuming murmurings of hundreds of millions of pounds is nonsense, a romantic return to Old Trafford could prove to be a wise move. Ronaldo could have at least five or six more years of blistering performances and childish strops ahead of him, several of which may very well end with Man Utd as Premier League champions. Find out how in the video below.
