Watch: Just how strong is the Chinese Super League?

Diego Costa is the latest name to be linked with a move to The Chinese Super League.

The astronomical sums hog the headlines so much so that we rarely hear anything about any actual football being contested throughout the division. Fear not, Football Manager: 90 Second Challenge is here once again to answer all of football’s unanswered questions.

Today, we’ll be testing the standard of The Chinese Super League by inexplicably throwing in teams from England and seeing how they compare to their Asian counterparts.

The Premier League’s 2 already-relegated clubs are first up and the results are, quite frankly, astounding. We won’t give away how it ends but all we will say is that if Diego really is heading East for the challenge and not the money, he’d be better off getting himself down the park eastward of Stamford Bridge and taking on a team of blind, one-legged 11-year-olds.

Slight exaggeration? Perhaps, but the video will certainly offer David Moyes a few ideas on how to rebuild his managerial reputation…
