Watch: PL25 – The 2013/14 Season

The 2013/14 season may well have been the greatest in Premier League history, epitomised by two clubs scoring over 100 goals for the first time ever – Liverpool and Manchester City – as they attempted to outgun each other for the title.

It was eventually the Citizens who came out on top, despite Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge dominating the scoring charts, after Jose Mourinho’s pragmatic tactics at Anfield saw Steven Gerrard infamously ‘slip’ at the final hurdle.

Along the way, there was also the not-so-small matter of David Moyes’ disastrous stint as Manchester United manager and Craig Bellamy becoming the first player to score for seven different clubs in the Premier League including his beloved Cardiff City.
