We’re used to seeing the like of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and even Wayne Rooney be the star in an advertisement… so it would come as a breath of fresh air to watch a manager as the main man.
Well maybe not, because when Arsene Wenger was given the chance by Puma, he didn’t look all too convincing in their latest coat ad.
The Arsenal manager has had troubles with his coat while on the sidelines before, so the Frenchman was a rather perfect candidate to showcase the new easy-zipping product.
But not only did Wenger’s zipping motion not look like the smooth user-friendly item being advertised, but ‘Le Professeur’ seemed more confused than confident when he deliver his commercial-closing one liner.
I guess that’s why they stick to Ronaldo and co.
