Arsenal received their latest setback, losing 2-1 to Manchester United at home on Saturday and while it’s typical of fans to blast their club, even their own player is hitting out at the Gunners’ shortcomings.
Striker Olivier Giroud has missed most of the season with an ankle fracture but made his return against the Red Devils, even scoring in the process.
However prior to the match, the Frenchman expressed his concern over Arsenal’s lack of a winning mentality which sees them unable to hold on when in the lead.
He said: “For us, the most important thing is to be consistent and to know how to close the game after “winning” it, like Anderlecht or Swansea away.”
