Chelsea ace Michael Essien, now on loan at AC Milan, is known as the man that always seems to be smiling. He may not be the same complete midfielder he was before, but the Ghanaian is definitely still a happy character.
However during the weekend the smile all but vanished, after Essien received a second yellow card for a adjudged elbow forcing him off the pitch.
His reaction was priceless, but sadly replays show that the 31-year-old arm did strike the Udinese player in the face, even if it was unintentional.
Or maybe he realized that Roberto Soldado just scored for Tottenham Hotspur!
