Hashtag United are the amateur football team taking the world by storm.
Headed by famous footballing Youtuber Spencer Owen, otherwise known as Spencer FC, Hashtag United have gone from the Essex Sunday League to Wembley Stadium and just about everywhere in between, echoing the path taken by the many millions in FIFA Ultimate Team.
Indeed, Hashtag United have taken a similar journey, propelling themselves all the way up from Division 5 to Division 1, each division increasing in difficulty each time and each success or failure met with a reward or punishment from their anonymous chairman respectively.
Hashtag United have already faced staff teams from West Ham, Manchester City, Google and fellow Youtube channel Dream Team FC, featuring in some prominent Premier League stadiums in the process – such as Selhurst Park.
