Liverpool legend slams “poor” Reds, Man United, and Gunners

Michael Owen was a calm and collected striker back in his day, without much controversy and was nothing short of a gentleman.

But now working in punditry, the former Liverpool and Manchester United star held nothing back as he labelled his two former clubs and Arsenal as “poor” (not financially) on BT Sport.

Owen believed that this could be a season in which a dark horse – such as Southampton or West Ham – can break into the top four instead of the normal big boys.

He may have said it harshly, but it would be a breath of fresh air to see a team expected to be in a relegation battle make the Champions League next season.
