During the summer, the most talked about transfer saga was definitely Manchester United’s attempt in signing Juventus and Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The 27-year-old was a powerhouse during the World Cup, which only fuelled Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal’s interest in the former Bayer Leverkusen man.
However due to niggling knee injuries, the transfer was never completed and Vidal stayed with the Italian champions.
It seemed to have done him good, as Juventus continued their impressive league form even with Vidal missing the start of the season and the Chilean is slowly recovering from his injury problems.
Last night Vidal scored a classy goal for the Old Lady, curling an effort into the far corner from outside the area on the way to a 3-1 victory over Cagliari.
Will Man United be hoping to sign him again come January?
