It may be the final day of Group Stage action in Brazil but it’s still all to play for in Group G. The USA face Germany this afternoon knowing that a draw will be enough for both sides to progress.
“Soccer” certainly isn’t the number one sport stateside but the performances of Jurgen Klinsmann’s side seem to have gripped the nation. However, with the early kick off, many Americans will be searching for an excuse to get out of work to watch the decisive fixture.
Never fear, the solution is at hand!
In a hugely popular move, Klinsmann has recognised the problem and signed a permission slip so supporters can cheer on the team back home.

American employers will likely be inundated with personal requests from the German today to grant soccer-mad members of their workforce the day off.
