Manchester United’s five highest PPG scorers in FPL
5. Anthony Martial – 3.8 PPG
Anthony Martial’s 11 goals and six assists in 15/16 saw him averaging 4.82 points per 90 minutes last season, which is significantly higher than his average this season.
After six Premier League appearances for United so far this campaign he is averaging 3.8 PPG, which is boosted by his one goal and two assists.
The issue has been his struggle to earn a place in Jose Mourinho’s starting XI – he hasn’t started a league game since the 2-0 over Southampton.
However, after coming off the bench and scoring against Stoke in GW7, he may have done enough to warrant a starting role when Liverpool visit Old Trafford on Monday night.
Certainly one to keep an eye on throughout the season.
