The best FPL performers during GW2
After a fantastic weekend of football with some high scoring games and some impressive individual performances, it is time to take a look back at the action and pick some of the best Fantasy Premier League performers from game week 2.
The process is simple, we take a look at the top-performing player from each position in FPL and evaluate their performance, starting with a goalkeeper, all the way down to a forward – how did they do? Who did they play? How many points did they get? Should you transfer the in for the next game week? All these things will be discussed as we make our way through.
So here we go, the best performing FPL players from game week 2…
GK: Alisson – 14pts
The Liverpool shot-stopper enjoyed a great game against Chelsea on Sunday, making three saves and saving a penalty from Italian midfielder Jorginho, helping his side to a 2-0 win. This victory also gave the Reds a clean sheet in the process, resulting in his high points tally.
His penalty save gave him an extra 5 points, as well as 4 points for the clean sheet and 2 bonus points at the end of the game. Liverpool’s next game against Arsenal could be an interesting one, with the fixture difficulty rating sitting at a 3, but with games against Aston Villa, Everton, and Sheffield United after, it may be wise to either keep him in your team or transfer him in, with his confidence likely being elevated after his strong performance against the Blues.
