The international break may be a tedious affair, but it does still give Fantasy Premier League players some time to ponder their next moves.
This season we’ve set up five just-for-fun teams to make our FPL seasons a little more interesting, and we want your help with the decisions we make.
One of our teams is the Man United Rejects, made up of former Red Devils still plying their trade in the Premier League. You’d be forgiven for thinking this team would be a solid FPL side, raking in the points each week, but that’s far from the case right now.
The Man United Rejects have so far raked in a pretty embarrassing 243 FPL points, and failed massively in GW7 with just 31. It leaves them rock bottom of our mini-league, which is made up of Chelsea Rejects, an U23 XI, an Over 30s XI and an all-England XI.
Ahead of GW7 we wanted to make a few changes to try and improve the team’s performance, but the truth is that options are extremely limited. Even the bench is completely useless at the moment!
Wayne Rooney hasn’t been able to replicate his early season form, Chicharito is being played out of position at West Ham and relying on the likes of Tom Cleverley, Darren Fletcher, Robbie Brady and Danny Simpson to get you out of trouble is never the best FPL tactics.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, which means we’re going to have really scrape the barrel before the GW8 deadline – but does Danny Welbeck even represent better value than the strikers we already have?
Let us know what you think we should do ahead of the next gameweek in the comments below. There’s £18.4 in the bank, but not much out there to play with…
