Sheffield United Kit Review 2020/21 – Home and Away!

Sheffield United were the surprise package of the 2019/20 Premier League season, defying all expectations to challenge for a European spot.

The Blades are back at Bramall Lane in preparation for the upcoming campaign.

Chris Wilder’s side have made several signings including Aaron Ramsdale from Bournemouth, both Jayden Bogle and Max Lowe from Derby County, Oliver Burke from West Brom and brought in Ethan Ampadu on loan from Chelsea.

And Adidas have dropped the home and away kits before the beginning of the 2020/21 Premier League season.

The south Yorkshire outfit signed a kit deal with the German sportswear giants in 2014 with over a year left to run on its current contract.

The iconic red and white stripes are synonymous with Sheffield United although Adidas have added a black collar and black sleeves to switch things up a little.

Blades fans will not want to miss out on buying these football shirts before it becomes too late as they could turn out to be an important piece of the club’s history in the future!

Sheffield United 2020/21 Home Kit

First and foremost, here at Football Fan Gifts we have decided that both of these kits really are the best of the bunch.

Before we get accused of bias, have no fear – we aren’t Blades fans in disguise, just to make that clear!

Now that we have got that out of the way, let’s get down to business.

It’s hardly surprising that there are red and white stripes covering the shirt itself but eagle-eyed fans will be able to spot the black collar and stripes on the sleeves that add some small subtle changes to the new Sheffield United home kit.

And Adidas have gone one step further by adding a white panel at the top of the shirt and sleeves. Nothing out of the ordinary but a little does go a long way!

However you can’t really complain with the classic red and white stripes. Throw in a few extra details here and there for good measure and you are left with a really great football kit. Full marks from us.

Sheffield United 2020/21 Away Kit

Chris Wilder’s side caught everyone by surprise after they stormed to the top of the table in their first campaign back in the top flight. Can the kit suppliers do the same with the away strip? You’re about to find out!

Once again Adidas have done a great job with the Sheffield United away kit.

Alright, we get it, it does look a little bit like someone has washed red with white, but that is besides the point.

The club claims it is “bold in our belief, dynamic in our game, and centred in our city” and, well, they’re absolutely right!

As far as we are concerned we are rather partial to an away kit that goes the extra mile. I mean, that’s exactly what they’re for, aren’t they?

It certainly won’t be difficult to spot the Blades on the road with their light pink patterned shirt with matching socks separated by grey shorts.
