Hadley vs Hashtag United: A huge test for the lads in Essex Senior League action!

Welcome back to the site guys!

Devs and the lads will attempt to make it seven wins on the spin in all competitions against Hadley this Saturday, although it will undoubtedly be a tough challenge if we are to take all three points.

Our last outing saw the Hashtag boys coast to a 3-0 victory over Woodford, a game in which Jamie Hursit, Ross Gleed and Harry Honesty found the back of the net while Simon Peddie won the Man of the Match award – well done Peds!

However, that game has been and gone, and there are plenty of points still up for grabs…

Team News

You’ll be pleased to hear that there are no new injury concerns ahead of the game!

We still have some players gradually working their way towards full fitness, but Albie Keith and Richo are in the squad again after fairly lengthy periods out.

Eye on the Opposition

We mentioned that Hadley would provide us with a real test, certainly if their recent form is anything to go by.

Hadley are on form right now, and before a 3-2 defeat to Redbridge last time out they had won their last eight games in all competitions, scoring 29 goals in total, so Devs and the lads must bring their A-game for this one.

In terms of league position, Hadley finds themselves in fifth place with 35 points to their name, just seven points behind us with a game in hand – a win for the home side this Saturday would put them very much up there going into 2020.
