HASHTAG UNITED HOME GAME INFORMATION/COVID-19 PROTOCOLS – MEN

(UPDATED 27 SEP)

We’re so happy to finally be able to welcome fans to our games again.  It’s going to be a very different experience for the time being, but the more we all do to keep each other safe, the more chance we’ll have of continuing with the season in a way we all want to.  The following guidelines are for our mutual safety; please do your best to follow them and help us to help you!

MEN’S FIRST TEAM INFORMATION – FOR WOMEN SEE OTHER PAGE

Men’s games address (for directions see end of article):

Bowers & Pitsea FC, Crown Avenue, Basildon, SS13 2BE

(please note that this postcode on Sat Nav systems may take you to the area behind the ground, from which there is no access. We recommend you input Crown Avenue for better guidance!)

Covid-19 symptoms:

Please do not attend if you or anyone in your party is displaying symptoms or if you should be isolating.  We would also recommend not attending if you are considered in high-risk categories.  If attending, please follow best practice in terms of hygiene and bring hand sanitiser for your own personal use.  For the latest government guidance, see here: Covid-19 Govt guidelines

Tickets:

Attendance for the game will be restricted to 300 as per FA guidelines.  TODAY’S GAME IS SOLD OUT. PLEASE DO NOT TRAVEL WITHOUT A TICKET.

Your proof of purchase is your ticket.  We may be checking names as well so if you’re not the purchaser please provide proof that they were bought for you.

Entry is via the far end of the stand (down the drive) by the turnstiles.

Parking:

On site parking is now available. Once that is full, please use Eversley Leisure Centre 5mins walk away rather than using the streets around the ground as this results in complaints from residents.

Match timings:

To reduce risk of infection, we will allow fans to enter from 6.30  and will be closing the ground promptly after players have changed.

Please note that for evening fixtures, residents have insisted that floodlights are turned off promptly at 10pm.

Registration:

By law we have to maintain a register of anyone attending. FOR THE FA CUP GAME, WE HAVE YOUR DETAILS SO YOU DO NOT NEED TO FOLLOW THE CHECK-IN PROCESS BELOW.

Before entering please ensure you have checked in using the EvePass system, and be ready to show proof on the door.

To register, download a QR reader in your phone and point it at this code then fill in your details on Eve Pass.  Please note that Eve Pass uses your information in accordance with GDPR only for the purposes of registration and your details will be wiped after 30 days.

If this does not work, or you do not have a smartphone/QR reader, please register at the entrance.

Programme:

Our programme will be digital only and will be available via our Twitter on matchday.

Facilities available:

Toilets are in the corner to the left as you enter the ground, and there is a burger bar at the opposite end of the ground.  The burger bar currently only accepts cash.  For the FA Cup game, the old clubhouse bar is open.

Covid-19 protocols:

(For visiting players/officials, please see our risk assessment/action plan here: Hashtag Action plan/risk assessment

Please maintain a 1m+ distance at all times with those outside your household, whether queuing, in the stand or around the pitch.  We suggest keeping two seats apart from those outside your household in the stand.

Wearing of masks is optional but advised.

Please keep groups to a maximum of 6 people.

The concourse in front of the main stand isn’t wide enough to implement an efficient one-way system so please be understanding by keeping a 1m+ distance to those passing you.

Public will not be admitted to interior areas of the stand.

Please dispose of your rubbish carefully or take it with you.

Risk assessment:

To fulfil guidelines, we have published our risk assessment and protocols on the website.  The main points for fans are covered on this page but to read further guidelines and protocols for players, officials and staff, click here: Hashtag United Covid-19 risk assessment

Player Meet/Greet:

Anyone who has come to a Hashtag United game before knows how much we try to meet fans before and after games for selfies etc.  Under current circumstances this has become more difficult.  Whilst we don’t want to warn you off, please be understanding and help us to help each other by not requesting handshakes or close quarter selfies.  You’re fine to take photos but we should all keep our distance!

Filming:

Please note that we will be filming in and around the game so by attending you consent to be filmed.  Anyone with privacy concerns should contact Neil Smythe on neil@hashtagunited.co.uk
