Hashtag United prepare for our first ever FA Vase game!

Alright guys! What’s up?

Some big news for you here.

We are set to play our first EVER FA Vase game on Saturday 31st August, where we’ll be taking on Leyton Athletic at our home ground.

It will be a special game for us as we embark on a new chapter in the club’s history, whilst it will also be a special occasion for Triple H and Izu, who both used to play for our opposition!

This’ll also be our first ever official route to Wembley (discarding the iconic Wembley Cup, of course).

You may be wondering why we aren’t partaking in the more recognised FA Cup, and if you are, let us explain why.

In order to be involved in the FA Cup, you have to have participated in either the FA Trophy or the FA Vase in the season before – to compete in either of those competitions, you have to have been a senior club for one whole campaign.

Make sense? We hope so!

If we manage to overcome Leyton Athletic, then we will face either Potton United or Frenford away at their place in the next round – you may know that Frenford were in our league last year.

Come on lads! #EveryCupRunHasToStartSomewhere
