Welcome back, guys!
Our league campaign gets back up and running this Saturday after a string of cup outings – our last three games have seen us compete in the Essex Thameside Trophy, the Buildbase FA Vase and the Essex Senior Cup, with mixed results to say the least.
Our last league game saw us record a jaw-dropping comeback win over Sawbridgeworth Town – for the sake of Devs’ heart rate, let’s hope the trip to Ilford is a bit more straight forward!
The win was our fourth consecutive victory out of five games in the league, and we currently sit second in the table on 12 points – two behind Saffron Walden Town.
So, here’s everything you need to know ahead of our sixth league game of the season…
It’s been a strong start to life at Hashtag for new boys Jesse Waller-Larsen and Sam Byles, with both players in contention to make their league debuts for the club against Ilford.
Simon Peddie is slowly coming back from injury, so he remains a doubt for this weekend’s game.
The goalkeeping department remains a competitive one as two men battle it out for the No.1 jersey – Tim Pitman and Cav Clarke have both performed when called upon, and have also handed Devs a real selection headache in between the sticks.
Here is Devs’ squad for the match against Ilford:
