How’s it going, people?
This week’s edition of Premier Picks sees Hashtag United’s very own glovesman Andy Cade-Watts share his predictions ahead of this weekend’s round of Premier League fixtures!
We’ve already heard from Yani and Ricky Evans, with Ricky getting his predictions wrong straight away when Friday night’s fixture between Everton and Aston Villa didn’t go as our very own hardman anticipated!
Let’s see what Andy has gone for this week in his own words…
“Southampton just beat Brighton away whilst Manchester United lost to Crystal Palace, but they should’ve won having missed a penalty whilst also having an appeal for another questionably turned down. Man United are stronger and they’re gonna win 2-1.”
“Villa have been pretty close to winning in the first couple of games, and got a big win against Everton last time out. I think they’re gonna beat Palace 1-0 in an away win. Big result that’ll be.”
“Leicester have had an unbeaten start to the season, whereas Bournemouth have won one, drawn one and lost one – indifferent. The Cherries lost to Manchester City but had a good away win against Villa, I’m gonna say draw. 2-2.”
“Manchester City at home. Only one winner. 3-0 to Manchester City.”
“West Ham at home to Norwich. Norwich will score, but West Ham will score more. 2-1.”
“Chelsea will be too strong at home. 2-0 Chelsea. Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount both to score.”
“Newcastle vs Watford, battle of the bottom two. Relegation six-pointer ALREADY this early into the season. Watford have been awful, Newcastle have been a little bit better. I think they’re gonna get a point, first point of the season for Watford in a 1-1 draw.”
“Clearly only one winner to this. Liverpool. Mo Salah, my captain on Fantasy Football, he’s gonna get a hat-trick and it’ll be 3-1 to Liverpool.”
“Wolves – my team – away against Everton. Everton have just lost 2-0, Wolves are drawing a lot of their games at the beginning of the season but they’re gonna win this one. They’re gonna win 2-1 away from home.”
“North London Derby. Arsenal vs Tottenham. Arsenal have scraped past Newcastle and Burnley before getting battered by Liverpool. Spurs were poor against Newcastle but I think, after drawing 2-2 with Manchester City which was a good result, it’ll be a 2-1 win to Tottenham.”
