Premier Picks: Charlie Morley shares his predictions for this weekend’s PL games!

Welcome back to the site guys!

It’s time to hear from a member of the Hashtag United family once again to get their views on the upcoming weekend of Premier League football.

Last week, we heard what Albie Keith thought the scores would be throughout Premier League games up and down the country, and now we’ve managed to grab a moment with Charlie Morley to see what he thinks will happen in the top-flight this weekend.

Let’s take a look at what he’s gone for…

Chelsea 3-0 Crystal Palace

Chelsea's Jorginho celebrates scoring their first goal v Ajax with Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount - Champions League - Group H

“Chelsea have found their form this year despite being tipped to not even make the top six under Frank Lampard, and have won their last five Premier League games in a row. Palace aren’t doing too badly either, but I feel like Chelsea will be too strong for the Eagles at Stamford Bridge.”

Burnley 1-0 West Ham

West Ham United's Mark Noble before the Crystal Palace match

“West Ham are without a win in their last five Premier League games – Manuel Pellegrini’s side really do need to sort themselves out. As a result of the Hammers’ terrible form, I think that, and the fact that Burnley are playing at home, will be the deciding factors in this match.”

Newcastle 0-2 Bournemouth

“Coming off the back of beating Manchester United, Bournemouth will be filled with confidence going into this match. Newcastle did beat West Ham last time out, but I feel that the Cherries have too many good players. I’m feeling an easy Bournemouth win.”

Southampton 1-3 Everton

“Both teams are struggling a lot this year. Everton are just three points above Southampton in 17th place, and although the Toffees will be missing one of their key players after Andre Gomes’ ankle break, I feel like they’ll take this one rather comfortably – remember, the Saints lost 9-0 in their previous home match.”

Tottenham 2-1 Sheffield United

Tottenham Hotspur's Dele Alli celebrates scoring their first goal v Everton

“Although Spurs have struggled in the Premier League this year and Sheffield United have performed extremely well, I think Mauricio Pochettino’s men will take the three points here because of their individual quality – it’ll be a tight game nonetheless.”

Leicester 3-2 Arsenal

Leicester City attacker James Maddison

“Leicester look very strong this year and this will be a very big test for them. However, I do feel like they’ll be too strong for an Arsenal side who were awful in the Europa League on Wednesday and are bang out of form – being at home will help Leicester too.”

Manchester United 2-1 Brighton

“Hopefully, United can start to find some form in the Premier League. After recently qualifying for the knockout stages of the Europa League, and also playing at Old Trafford this weekend, I think they’ll be too much for Brighton.”

Wolves 2-0 Aston Villa

“Wolves are drawing a lot of games this year in the league, but I feel like they will come good towards the halfway point of the season – Villa are a team that they should be turning over with Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez in their ranks.”

Liverpool 2-1 Manchester City

Liverpool's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain celebrates scoring their second goal v KRC Genk - Champions League - Group E

“This is possibly a title deciding game in just the 12th game-week of the season – what a match this should be. I’m backing Liverpool to edge this one with them being at home a massive deciding factor. It’s their title to lose if they can beat City here.”
