How’s it going, guys!
It’s Friday, which means Premier Picks predictions from a member of the Hashtag United squad.
In this week’s instalment, we’ve got George Smith’s predictions for this weekend’s round of Premier League fixtures, so let’s take a look at what the goal machine has gone for…
“This one will be a close game I reckon. Leicester look strong this year while Tottenham do too, but having played in Greece on Wednesday, it may affect Mauricio Pochettino’s side. I’m gonna go for 2-2 in this one.”
“As good as Norwich’s form has been this season, Burnley is a tough place to go with their threat and physicality. Again, I’m gonna say 2-2.”
“Everton will comfortably win this one at home. Marco Silva has got a good team at his disposal this year and the Toffees will be too good for the newcomers at Goodison Park. 3-1 to Everton for me.”
“Pep Guardiola’s side will cruise this one. It was a difficult result for them to take last week against Norwich, but they will be keen to bounce back with a good result against Watford. 4-0 to Man City.”
“I can see this one being a close game. Both sides have had an average season so far, but the home side have that extra bit to win the game in front of their own support. 2-1 to Newcastle.”
“Hard to choose, this one. Palace isn’t an easy place to go to but Wolves are a strong side, who should have enough quality in their team to get a result despite playing Braga on Thursday night. 1-1.”
“Again, this one should be a close game. This fixture never seems to disappoint in terms of goals, with both sides having plenty of quality in attack such as Sebastien Haller and Dan James. I’m going for a 2-2 draw.”
“Home win for me. Arsenal’s attack will be too strong for Villa. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe are in decent form and will be looking to continue their good performances. However, after Watford had 31 shots last weekend against the Gunners, there will be a high chance of them conceding. 3-1 to Arsenal.”
“This is a big one. Both teams got a good result last weekend with Chelsea thrashing Wolves and Liverpool beating Newcastle, but then both lost in Europe in the week.
“Despite that, Liverpool will be too strong for Chelsea with their individual talent. 3-1 to Jurgen Klopp’s side.”
