Welcome back to the site!
We’ve got another edition of Premier Picks for you to feast your eyes on today.
This time, we’ve managed to grab a quick word with Hashtag Tom to see how he thinks this weekend’s Premier League action will go.
Take a look at what Tom has predicted to happen in England’s top-flight this weekend, and see if you can beat his predictions by clicking the link at the bottom of the article…
“Both Bournemouth and Wolves are evenly matched teams who have started the season well, so I really can’t separate the two here. I’m backing Callum Wilson to score for the home team, and I can also see the final score being 1-1.”
“This should be a comfortable win for the home team. Southampton are stuck just one place off the bottom of the table and I can’t see them getting a result here, even if they nearly got a point at the Etihad against Manchester City a few weeks ago. Having said that, I expect them to get a goal against this Arsenal defence!”
“I expect Leicester to come away with all three points. Brighton are in good form but I don’t think they have the quality to beat this young and exciting Leicester side, who are beginning to mount a challenge for a top four spot.”
“The strongest team in the league in terms of attack, with one of the best defences in the league – Liverpool are a winning machine right now and I can’t see Crystal Palace and Roy Hodgson stopping them.”
“Everton haven’t been great this season but Norwich have been even worse! I predict a home win and Richarlison to get a brace.”
“In this game, two of the most potent attacks in the league who have both struggled defensively will be on show. I think Man City are just that level above Chelsea despite Frank Lampard working wonders with this Blues team – I’d be surprised if there weren’t many goals in this match.”
“There’s always a boring game in every Premier League match-week, right? I can see it being this one at the weekend. There isn’t much to separate these teams and I really can’t see it being the first pick on Match Of The Day.”
“To say that both teams are struggling for form is an understatement! A big London Derby nevertheless and ‘form goes out the window’ as they say (who are they?!).
“The new manager effect is going to come in to play. Jose Mourinho should hopefully spark the Spurs boys into turning up in a big London Derby.
“I have to back my team to get a win and hopefully Giovani Lo Celso builds on his performances from the Champions League.”
“Sheffield United will continue to surprise people. United look sketchy away from home and I think they’ll continue to struggle here”
“Two teams battling to avoid the relegation spots and I can see a stalemate here. Jack Grealish will put in a MOTM performance under the lights but I don’t think it’ll be enough for Villa to win the game.”
