How’s it going guys?
It’s Friday, which means that it’s time to hear what one member of the Hashtag United family thinks will happen in the Premier League this weekend.
Before the international break, you heard Wes Tanser’s predictions, where he tipped Norwich to beat Aston Villa 1-0 and Tottenham to beat Brighton – Norwich actually ended up losing 5-1 and Spurs lost, but we’ve all been there Wes!
With Premier League football now resuming normal service, let’s hear what Jamie Hursit thinks will happen in England’s top-flight this weekend…
“I do not fancy West Ham going to Goodison Park and nicking a result, so for me, I’m gonna go with Everton to win 2-1.”
“I’ll be honest with you – I don’t know much about either team! If I was to choose a winner, I’d have to go with a 1-0 win for Brighton. I don’t think it’ll be a high scoring game.”
“Obviously there’s been a lot of speculation right now at Tottenham, with what’s gone on at the training ground (in reference to the alleged incident between Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen).
“I don’t know if it’s true or not, but something seems to have made a couple of the players look disjointed and they haven’t actually been playing very well lately. As a result, I’m gonna go with a 2-1 win to Watford!”
“Not many teams will go to Molineux and nick a result. I’ll be honest with you, I think they’re a very good team defensively, and they can attack with Ruben Neves and players like that – they’re very, very good. So, I’m gonna go with 3-1 to Wolves. I think they’ve got goals in them, but I think Danny Ings will get Southampton’s goal.”
“Newcastle haven’t had the best start in the Premier League, and I think with their youngsters, Chelsea have actually had a very good start. Callum Hudson-Odoi on the wing, Tammy Abraham has been scoring a lot of goals, so I’m going with 3-0 to Chelsea to be honest with you.”
“Teemu Pukki is my guy! He’s one of the most exciting strikers in the Premier League at the moment. Considering the fact that I don’t think Norwich are great, I think Pukki will score but both sides will play out a 2-2 draw.”
“Against Liverpool, I think Leicester played quite well and didn’t do too badly – they probably could’ve nicked a result in the end but unfortunately didn’t. I’m gonna go with a draw in this one. I know Jamie Vardy is in form and I think he’ll score, but I’m gonna go with a 1-1 draw.”
“To be honest, I think Manchester City are just levels above every other team in the league other than Liverpool, and probably in the world as well. As a result, I’m gonna go with 4-0 to City, to be honest.”
“I think this is the biggest game of the weekend. You probably couldn’t get a bigger game at the moment. Manchester United are going through a bit of a rough patch, but they’re going to want to turn a leaf. I am a Liverpool fan but I think it’s gonna be a 2-2 draw.”
“I’m not a massive fan of Arsenal at the moment. I don’t think they’ve been playing well although they have picked up a few results here and there. I’d like to think Arsenal will win, so I’m gonna go with 2-0.”
