How’s it going guys!
It’s Friday, and you know what that means.
Premier Picks predictions from a member of the Hashtag United family!
We had George Smith’s predictions last time out, and this week, we’ve got LP’s Premier Picks for you to feast your eyes on.
Take a read of the main man’s predictions down below, and be sure to get involved yourself using the code at the bottom of the article!
“So, these predictions will be tough for me I think, as I’m a week behind and I’ve been away on holiday for a week in Miami, but nevertheless, my fantasy teams have a lot of Liverpool players in so I have to back my boys in this one!
“I don’t think Chris Wilder will be taking any points from this game, seeing as Liverpool haven’t lost or drawn a game in the league yet. I’m going with 3-0 to Jurgen Klopp’s side.”
“Both team won their last games, but with Anwar El Ghazi injured for Villa and Burnley winning 2-0 at home to Norwich recently, I fancy a boring 1-0 win for Burnley.”
“So, this is a tough one for me as I’ve been a West Ham fan my whole life and it’s not been easy.
“West Ham haven’t beaten Bournemouth the last four times we’ve met, yet however, Bournemouth have six injuries and the Hammers beat Man United 2-0 at home last week, so I have to say 2-1 to West Ham! COYI!”
“Chelsea are having a bit of a pants season. Could it be due to the transfer ban and having no option but to trust the youth, who I think have stepped up, or the fact that they have no Eden Hazard?
“Nevertheless, Chelsea have beaten Brighton in the last four meetings and something tells me that it’s going to be 5 very soon. Regardless of their last game being against Grimsby Town, I think a 7-1 victory will have Frank Lampard’s team in high spirits, resulting in a 2-0 win for Chelsea!”
“As much as we all love Teemu Pukki right now and were impressed with Norwich’s win against Man City, they lost 2-0 to Burnley last time out and currently have 10 injuries!
“With this game being played at Selhurst Park, I think Roy Hodgson will be expecting goals from both Wilfried Zaha and Jordan Ayew in a 3-0 win at home!”
“So, being a West Ham fan, I’d love Spurs to get beaten at home any day of the week.
“I think Southampton are a bit hot and cold at the moment, but with Danny Ings up top and James Ward-Prowse on set pieces, anything can happen. For that reason, I’d love to see Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side steal a point. 1-1!”
“This is probably the toughest game to predict.
“It could either be the worst game or the best game of the weekend, 19th vs 20th, bottom of the table clash. With Troy Deeney out, Watford currently being on 2 points and also with a -14 goal difference, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side HAVE to come away with 3 points. 1-0 Wolves!”
“So, we all know Pep is a genius.
“8-0 at home to Watford is just crazy, especially with Leroy Sane, John Stones and Aymeric Laporte out!
“Marco Silva’s side aren’t bad at all, but having lost their last two league games and what with City being City, it has to be three points to Pep. 3-1 City!”
“Brendan Rodger’s side’s form right now is pretty decent.
“Newcastle haven’t won in their last four games, whereas Leicester beat Spurs 2-1 last weekend – Newcastle also have six injures including Jonjo Shelvey, Matt Ritchie, DeAndre Yedlin, Dwight Gayle and Allan Saint-Maximin.
“Therefore, it’s going to be a 3-1 win to Leicester City for me!”
