Premier Picks: Ross Gleed shares his predictions for this weekend’s PL games!

Welcome back guys!

Premier League football is back in our lives after a busy week, and as always, we’ve grabbed a word with a member of the Hashtag United family to see what they think will happen in England’s top-flight.

This week, we’ve sat down with the in-form Ross Gleed to hear his views.

Gleedy is having a seriously good season so far, scoring ten goals and grabbing two assists – he is becoming a serious set-piece specialist with that wicked left-foot!

Let’s see what the man himself thinks will happen in the Premier League this weekend…

Newcastle 1-3 Manchester City

“Newcastle are coming off of that 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa, and I’m not feeling too good about them. There’s not much more to say here apart from the fact that City are significantly better than Newcastle, and I’ve got Aguero in my fantasy team – hat-trick please, Sergio pal.”

Burnley 0-2 Crystal Palace

“Sure, Palace aren’t in great form going into this and Burnley seem to be finding form (whilst still seventh) but I fancy the south London boys to come away with it – Wilfried Zaha’s barmy army!”

Chelsea 3-1 West Ham

“This one pains me because I’m a West Ham fan, but we’re not playing well at all right now. Chelsea and their team of youngsters are just better than us. Hopefully I’m wrong though.”

Liverpool 2-0 Brighton

“Best team in the league right now. This will be a routine win for the Reds. I feel sorry for Brighton who probably could have done without facing Liverpool this weekend. If I could wish for anything though, it’s for Aaron Connolly to bag. Love that guy.”

Tottenham 1-0 Bournemouth

“Jose’s back! We’ll forget about last week’s result against West Ham (for personal reasons) but I’m backing Spurs to make it two league wins on the bounce under the special one. I love having him back in the Premier League. Boring 1-0, park the bus, last on Match of the Day game please Jose pal.”

Southampton 0-0 Watford

“The battle of the bottom of the league. Results have been poor for both teams recently, even though Southampton deserved a win against Arsenal last week. This could either be a thriller with a bunch of goals or a dead, boring 0-0. I’m going for the latter.”

Norwich 1-2 Arsenal

“Freddie’s at the wheel! I’m actually quite looking forward to watching this. Arsenal, regardless of what’s going on off the pitch, should have too much talent on the pitch against Norwich. They till won’t keep a clean sheet though!”

Wolves 1-1 Sheffield United

wolves players applaud fans

“Wolves have currently drawn three of their last three games. So let’s make it four! I’m really liking both these teams, the “Overachievers Derby” is gonna be 1-1 in my books.”

Leicester 2-0 Everton

“Leicester with five wins in a row right now. Honestly, if Everton manage to beat them I’m telling Devs I’ll play in goal for the rest of the season.”

Manchester United 2-0 Aston Villa

“United are similar to Arsenal right now. Off the pitch they’re a shambles, but on the pitch they’ve got too much class for their opponent this week. United to win by two goals, Marcus Rashford to carry the load.”
