Here’s what Hashtag United legend Dan Brown is up to now

You’ve been asking, and we’ve finally answered!

A lot of you have been wondering what our all-time leading goalscorer, Dan Brown, has been up to since he retired from Hashtag United duty back in December 2018.

Dan scored a number of vital goals for us that helped get Hashtag United to where it is today, including memorable strikes at Wembley – he famously scored the second goal against Tekkers Town in the 2017 Wembley Cup to secure our first win in the competition.

Since he hung up his boots and last ‘hashtagged it’ in front of the cameras, Dan has been busy doing a number of things to truly keep himself busy.

A friend of Seb’s from their time together at the University of Northampton, Dan was one of the first players Seb thought of and reached out to when looking for players, such was his ability to score a lot of goals even back then.

The former Hashtag No.16 quickly became a fan favourite in the yellow and blue shirt, scoring a number of goals at a phenomenal rate to quickly race to the top of our scoring charts, where he still sits to this day.

Now, Dan currently runs his own recruitment business in the education sector, which has proven to be very successful.

He is also busy building a house, whilst taking care of his three children and his two dogs with his wife – he truly is a real family man!

Dan still keeps up his fitness and loves his jogging, although he is no longer involved in 11-a-side football since his days with Hashtag came to an end – however, he still manages to get down to watch the Yellow and Blue army whenever he can!
