Five England U20 World Cup heroes Leeds United should sign this summer

England won their biggest international football title since 1966 on Sunday when the U20 side beat Venezuela 1-0 in the World Cup final in South Korea.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s first half goal proved to be the difference as the young Three Lions lifted the trophy, but the game was also a tale of a brilliant penalty save (more to come on that later) and each side hitting the woodwork.

Although it was a brilliant triumph, England and the players will know that they need to be playing regular football if they are to carry on developing and to reach their potential, and some of the squad won’t be doing that next season at their current club.

Championship outfit Leeds United could be the perfect team to join as they will hope to be challenging at the right end of the table again next term, having narrowly missed out on the play-off positions this.
