Tottenham Hotspur breezed into the final four of the FA Cup on Sunday with a storming win over visitors Millwall at White Hart Lane.

Winning 6-0, Spurs booked their place in the semi-finals with style. Son Heung-min was the hero of the day, netting a hat-trick. That effort was complement by goals from Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Vincent Janssen.

The Lilywhites will now face a blockbuster tie at Wembley with Manchester City and Arsenal also making it through to the semis, due to be joined by either Manchester United or Chelsea who play on Monday night.

It didn't all go Spurs' way though, with star man Harry Kane having to go off injured after seven minutes, which could be a big blow to their ambitions in the final part of the season.

Here are the FIVE pictures that tell the story of the match...

Harry Kane's injury in the opening minutes of the game was a bitter blow to Spurs on an otherwise fantastic day for the club. Supporters now face a stressful wait to see how long it rules him out. Ankle injuries can be problematic and take a decent chunk of time to heal but at fans will have at least been buoyed that he managed to walk off the pitch under his own steam.

As you can see he did have a worried look on his face and the last person that will want him to miss any games is Kane himself.

Can Spurs continue to motor on without his goal contribution?

The replacement comes through

It was Christian Eriksen who came on for Harry Kane and to his credit he was the man who put Spurs ahead. It made sure that what could have become a frustrating and aimless day without their star man soon turned into the dominant performance needed to see off the threat of Millwall.

Incredibly he nows has 9 direct goal contributions in his last 5 matches, that's 2 goals and a massive 7 assists. Eriksen is getting back to the form he showed earlier in the season and at a critical time too.

Son shining

Son Heung-Min was of course the hero of the day, overcoming opposition jeers to have a fantastic day personally and for the team. He was superb throughout, not only netting his hat-trick but also setting another goal up.

If Harry Kane is to be out for a few weeks then Son will likely play a massive part in getting Spurs results.

The question is if he can do it on a regular basis against better opposition than League One Millwall.

He's taking it home

Son Heung-Min's hat-trick meant he got to take the ball home and it was well deserved. It seems ironic that on a day that the Spurs players who has scored so many hat-tricks recently, Harry Kane, went off, that another player would step up and bang in three goals of his own.

Tottenham love a hat-trick right now and fans are getting pretty used to players walking off the pitch with the match ball.

Up for the cup

There's no doubt that Spurs fancy themselves as FA Cup winners this season. Supporters crave major honours and finally have a team that can compete for them on a regular basis.

The semi-finals this year look extra difficult with Manchester City and Arsenal both progressing through to the Wembley dates this weekend, with Manchester United or Chelsea due to join the trio.

Those will be massive matches but who would bet against Spurs, who on their day produce some of the most exciting and effective football in the country?
