With the league title in the bag and the Scottish Cup Final still weeks away, Celtic are entering a period of relative relaxation over their next few fixtures. Having mercilessly disposed of Rangers over the last two weeks, they host St Johnstone at home on Saturday, hoping to extend their domestic unbeaten record this season.

More important though is ensuring key first team stars are rested ahead of a short pre-season and busy summer schedule. Brendan Rodgers also needs to ensure no silly injuries are picked up ahead of the Hampden final against Aberdeen.

It's also a chance to bring in some young fringe players from the Development Squad, giving them an opportunity to show that they have a future at the club.

Can Rodgers rotate the team and still ensure the Hoops have enough about them to pick up the victory?

These are the four Celtic stars we reckon should get a run out on Saturday...

Michael Johnston

Michael Johnston excelled in last week's Scottish Youth Cup Final against Rangers at Hampden, helping the young Hoops lift the trophy for the first time since 2015. The attacking midfielder, who just turned 18 last month, has even this week been linked with a move to Antonio Conte's Chelsea.

That's despite not even having made his first team debut for the Hoops. Supporters would enjoy seeing that change between now and the end of the season. The flamboyant young midfielder is a crowd pleaser.

Brendan Rodgers was in the stand for last week's final at Hampden and will likely have been impressed with his skill on the ball and ability to find teammates in the final third.

It comes on the back of an impressive season for the youngster in Celtic's Development Squad and after a long, hard season of graft, getting his reward with some minutes at Celtic Park on Saturday would be fitting.

Anthony Ralston is a young player who has been on the fringes of the first team squad all season, although has featured predominately for the Development Squad. He made his debut, coincidentally, almost a year to the day ago against Saturday's opponent's St Johnstone.

With Mikael Lustig due a rest after dozens of starts this season, it could be a good time for Brendan Rodgers to check on his progress in the first team, after an impressive performance in last week's Scottish Youth Cup Final.

The youngster has had first team minutes already under Rodgers, appearing in a 5-0 win over Motherwell last August. Still just 18 years of age, he needs more top-flight football under his belt to truly reach his potential and Saturday could be the beginning of that.

Eboue Kouassi

Since joining in a multi-million pound deal in January, Eboue Kouassi hasn't seen a lot of football at Celtic with Brendan Rodgers and his coaches still moulding the raw talent he possesses into something more polished and suitable for first-team action at the Hoops.

He's made five appearances for Celtic but only one start, which came in a 1-1 draw at home to Partick Thistle.

Giving him a star on Saturday would give him another opportunity to impress without any pressure on his shoulders and makes particular sense given Scott Brown is suspended after racking up too many yellow cards.

The Ivorian midfielder has the physical attributes to be a success in Scotland and now it's time to see if the time spent with the first team squad has improved his technical game too.

Tom Rogic

Before getting injured in December, Tom Rogic was well on his way to having a player of the year calibre season at Celtic. He was one of Brendan Rodgers' key performers and must be immensely frustrated his body didn't hold up.

Injuries have been a defining feature of his career which is perhaps why he hasn't been rushed back into action recently.

His first start back since that injury game in mid-April but he looked a little off his game and off the pace, eventually being substituted in the controversial 2-2 draw against Ross County.

A few more weeks of fitness work and first team training will have done him the world of good and he deserves a chance to show the kind of form that wowed supporters in the first half of the season.

He was one of the first Celtic players to hit double figures this season, scoring 10 goals in total so far and if he does get a start, you wouldn't put it past him getting on the scoresheet and staking a claim for a spot in the Scottish Cup Final.
