Tottenham Hotspur will look to end a hugely positive week on a high when they face Huddersfield Town at the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday.

Spurs beat London rivals West Ham United 3-2 at the London Stadium last weekend with Harry Kane scoring a brace and Christian Eriksen getting the third, while the former netted a hat-trick against APOEL FC on Tuesday as Mauricio Pochettino's men maintained their 100% start in the Champions League.

The north London outfit were slightly weakened in Cyprus with a number of their first team stars missing from the line-up, and the Argentine manager will have some decisions to make this weekend as he looks to keep Spurs' perfect record on the road in the Premier League this season going in Yorkshire.

Tottenham have beaten Newcastle, Everton and Irons on their travels, but they may face a tough task against the Terriers who are yet to be beaten at home.

Here are four changes Pochettino should make to his starting XI against Huddersfield…

Jan Vertonghen for Serge Aurier

The Belgium international missed out against APOEL because of suspension and Ben Davies, Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier all started with Tottenham short of centre-back options.

However, with Aurier missing the trip to Huddersfield as he is banned himself following his dismissal at the London Stadium last weekend, Vertonghen should come straight back into the starting line-up.

The 30-year-old was outstanding against the Irons and he has arguably been their best defender in the Premier League so far this season, and he will hope to help the north London outfit keep a clean sheet at the John Smith's Stadium.

Christian Eriksen for Son Heung-Min

The Denmark international missed out against APOEL FC because of illness but following his impressive start to the season and his performance at the London Stadium last weekend in particular, he should come straight back into the starting line-up against Huddersfield.

Eriksen had a big part to play in both of Harry Kane's goals against West Ham, while he scored the third himself with a 12-yard finish.

Meanwhile, it hasn't quite happened for Son Heung-Min following his return from injury and his lack of impact means that he is likely to drop down to the substitutes' bench against the Terriers.

Dele Alli for Harry Winks

Like Vertonghen, Alli missed out in Cyprus during the week because of his European ban but they didn't miss him from an attacking point of view as Harry Kane scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 win.

However, the 21-year-old should return against Huddersfield and while he has come under fire from some Tottenham supporters for some below-par performances in the Premier League this season, the England international has still scored twice and he assisted Kane against West Ham when his initial shot was saved by Joe Hart.

Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping that he can rediscover his previous form at the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday, and Winks should make way having played against APOEL FC so the club doesn't risk aggravating the ankle injury he has only recently returned from.

Fernando Llorente for Harry Kane

While Kane has scored nine goals in his last five appearances for Tottenham in all competitions, there will have to come a time when Mauricio Pochettino leaves him on the substitutes’ bench and this could be the ideal opportunity.

The England international could feature in both of his country's World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Lithuania next week and the clash against Huddersfield could be the ideal opportunity to give him a rest, but also have him available to make a difference from the bench if needed.

Meanwhile Llorente showed what he can do in the Premier League by scoring 15 goals in 33 appearances for Swansea last term, and he could certainly be trusted to lead the line for Spurs at the John Smith's Stadium.
