Four Rangers players who could show their true potential under Caixinha
Joe Garner was a big summer signing in 2016 with then manager Mark Warburton having high hopes he could be the goalscoring force that could see Rangers win consistently in the Scottish Premiership.
However, the English striker hasn’t had the best of seasons and until last week had only scored four goals for the Ibrox side, which is a rather dismal return.
He did show signs of improvement last Saturday though, almost doubling that four-goal total by scoring a hat-trick against Hamilton. Now on seven goals for the season Rangers supporters are hopeful that can boost his confidence and allow him to realise his potential at Ibrox.
A new manager could add to that progression with Garner likely keen to impress his new boss in an effort to become a first team regular.
Sadly for him, he’s suspended for Sunday’s visit to Celtic Park where he scored last time in a 5-1 defeat. That could’ve been the perfect occasion for him to continue his goalscoring exploits.
Can he become the player fans hoped he could be when he made the switch from down South?
