Gameweek 32: The Premier League’s shock stats of the weekend

It’s been a fantastic season in the Premier League and the intoxicating football shows little signs of relenting following yet another dramatic weekend in the top flight.

Everybody who was supposed to win, lose and draw eventually did, with surprisingly few upsets throughout the nine games (the tenth of gameweek 32 being Crystal Palace vs Arsenal tonight), but the action was as fast and furious as usual and most fixtures contained their fair share of twists throughout the ninety minutes.

Liverpool came back from a goal down to beat Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium, whilst Bournemouth gave Chelsea a second-half scare before succumbing to a 3-1 defeat and Tottenham quite simply destroyed Watford at home with a dominant 4-0 win.

Sunday, meanwhile, saw Manchester United maintain their unbeaten record (more on that in a moment) and Everton and Leicester provide arguably the game of the weekend in a six-goal thriller.

The beautiful game has gone statistics mad in recent years and we at Football FanCast are no different, so here’s a look at the most shocking numerical gems from the weekend…
