The three games that provide a path for Rangers to finish second

Now the fixture list for the closing stages of the season has been announced, Rangers know exactly what they must do if they are to overcome Aberdeen and finish an unlikely second in the Scottish Premiership this season.

Currently nine points behind with just six games remaining, you may think the task is impossible. However, it’s actually more feasible than you think, especially if Pedro Caixinha can carry forward momentum from their big win over the Dons last Sunday.

Given the unpredictable nature of the top six fixtures, where the best sides in the country go to battle one last time, anything can happen between now and the end of the season.

There are three fixtures in particular that stick out. Win these and Rangers will have given themselves a massive chance to overhaul Derek McInnes’ side, assuming they take care of comparatively easy games against Partick Thistle and Hearts.

This is Rangers’ path to second place…
