Three Chelsea youngsters Conte must pick vs. Brentford

Chelsea welcome Brentford to Stamford Bridge this Saturday in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup.

The two sides met back in 2013 in the same competition, when the Bees gave the Blues are scare at Griffin Park. On the verge of a historic FA Cup victory, it took a late, late equaliser from Fernando Torres to rescue a 2-2 draw for Chelsea and earn them a shot at redemption back at the Bridge.

Chelsea thumped them 4-0 in the reverse fixture thanks to goals from Juan Mata, Oscar, Frank Lampard and John Terry, the latter being the only player who remains at the club today.

While Antonio Conte will certainly know this and be keen to avoid the mistakes of four years ago, it should prove to be a comfortable fixture for his side, who sit eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

Having made very few changes to his starting XI all campaign – who can blame him considering Chelsea’s form? – perhaps it is a chance for the Italian to test out some of his youngsters to see what they are made of.
