Three Henry Onyekuru alternatives West Ham United could sign

According to reports in the Daily Mail, Everton have won the race to sign West Ham United target Henry Onyekuru from KAS Eupen.

The 20-year-old had been one of Slaven Bilic’s priorities this summer following an outstanding season for the Belgian outfit in which he scored 24 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions despite primarily playing on the left wing.

However, despite being the favourites for his signature at one stage, the Nigeria international has opted to join the Irons’ Premier League rivals instead and will be loaned to Anderlecht next season in order to continue his development, before returning to Goodison Park in a year’s time.

Bilic will still be keen to strengthen his attacking options before next term following a disappointing debut campaign in their new London Stadium home.

Adding some pace to his frontline is certainly needed, and after missing out on the Nigerian he will need to turn his attentions elsewhere.
