We're only one week deep into the Scottish Premiership season and already it's thrown a huge clash that has all the makings of being one of the most entertaining matches of the entire season.

Neil Lennon's Hibernian make the trip to Ibrox on Saturday afternoon with both teams in excellent form at the start of the Scottish football season.

Having won promotion from the Scottish Championship last term, a resurgent Hibees have strengthened in the summer and many pundits and fans are predicting they have an excellent shot of finishing in the top of the table.

Rangers have been no slouches themselves in their opening fixtures, seeing off Motherwell last Sunday before destroying Dunfermline 6-0 at Ibrox on Wednesday night.

It's all set up to be a cracker on Saturday but can the Light Blues ensure they capitalise on two good results or will Hibs upset them on their own turf?

These are the THREE Hibs danger men that could cause a real upset...

Simon Murray

Having missed out on promotion from the Scottish Championship last season with Dundee United, 25-year-old Simon Murray will get the chance to show what he can do in the Scottish top-flight once again this season after making the switch to Hibs this summer.

Remarkably he's always scored a massive nine goals for the club in all competitions, netting eight times in the opening Scottish League Cup fixtures before netting last week at home to Partick Thistle in the top-flight.

Almost reaching double figures for the season by mid-August is some going by any measure and Rangers will have to ensure they keep him quiet at Ibrox. With Jason Cummings making the switch South, Hibs will need him to be a consistent goalscorer all season and what better to continue his excellent form than with a high profile goal at the home of the Light Blues?

Anthony Stokes

Rangers fans know all about Anthony Stokes of course and it's fair to say that they don't like him and he doesn't like them. The former Celtic man was part of that famous cup winning side that defeated Rangers at Wembley and it'd be typical of him to get a goal at Ibrox and make the headlines once again.

He certainly has the ability, and appears to have the form too, netting twice mid-week at home to Ayr United in League Cup action, his first start for the club in this, his third spell at Easter Road.

Manager Neil Lennon got the best form of his career out of the forward while the two were at Celtic and while they sometimes didn't see eye to eye, expect Stokes to be a motivated man this season under the former Hoops boss.

Having scored 33 goals in 75 appearances for the Edinburgh side, he is undoubtedly one of their key threats on Saturday.

Steven Whittaker

With close to 400 appearances to his name across spells at Rangers and Hibernian, there won't be anyone at Ibrox on Saturday with as much knowledge or passion for the two teams doing battle. Steven Whittaker made his name at Hibs before making the switch to Glasgow in 2007, winning eight trophies in the club before leaving in acrimonious circumstances in 2012.

Making a further 100+ appearances for Norwich City in the Premier League and Championship, he's returned to his roots at Easter Road and has already settled in very nicely, looking as quality a player as ever.

He even got himself on the scoresheet last week against Partick Thistle. Goalscoring from right-back wasn't alien to him in his spell at Rangers, often found rampaging down the right flank at Ibrox and assisting or rifling home himself. He scored 28 goals for the Light Blues in his time there.

That ability to get forward will make him a real danger on Saturday and with the Light Blues' preference to get Josh Windass and Lee Wallace in advanced position, it's Whittaker that could be the key in any counter-attacks from the visitors.
