FA Cup holders Manchester United continue their quest to retain the trophy with a home tie against Wigan Athletic on Sunday.

United's seventeen-match unbeaten run came to an end against Hull City on Thursday night but they still managed to get through to the EFL Cup final over the two legs and now continue their assault on another trophy.

Things are going well for Mourinho in his first season at Old Trafford and Sunday's game represents another opportunity to progress in a competition this season.

On the face of it, the draw against Championship side Wigan is a kind one but as Mourinho knows, complacency is a killer in the FA Cup.

Still, it's unlikely he'll field a full first choice XI given United's busy schedule ahead and it could be the opportunity to give some young players more game time.

Here are our THREE Man United youngsters that deserve a chance to face Wigan...

19-year-old central defender Axel Tuanzebe is an exciting prospect for the future and deserves the chance to make his first team competitive debut on Sunday.

He's been training with the United first team all season and has even made the bench on a few occasions without featuring. He's known for his strength and leadership abilities, having captained United's U18 side.

It would be fitting he made his debut against Wigan, given he was one of their manager Warren Joyce's proteges in the United Reserves side.

He's already featured against Wigan recently, coming off the bench in a friendly game between the two sides last summer in Mourinho's first game at the club.

Marcus Rashford hasn't started a Premier League game since November but has been a regular feature off the bench for Mourinho and a key part of the sides competing in the EFL and FA Cup.

He's a big part of why United made it to the 4th Round, scoring twice against Reading in a man of the match performance at Old Trafford.

The teenager will surely get another start on Sunday and the chance to show what he can do through the middle of the United attack, rather than on the left flank.

The England international will be hoping he can put in another excellent Cup performance and give Mourinho something to think about in terms of Premier League selection.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah

Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen for Fosu-Mensah to stay at the club in the second half of the season despite a massive five loan offers from other clubs.

That's despite making just six appearances and two starts for the Red Devils this season. It might hint that Mourinho seems him playing a more active role in Cup and European fixtures and where better to start than on Sunday at Wigan.

The versatile defender made his debut for the club last season but hasn't managed to force his way into a more regular first team start.

Still just 19 years old, there's plenty of time for him to develop and he'll be hoping he can turn his performance off the bench against Reading in the last round into a start against Wigan on Sunday.
