Three reasons Barrie McKay should stay put at Rangers

As reported by The Daily Record, Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha wants the situation regarding Barrie McKay’s future at Ibrox sorted by next week.

McKay’s deal at the club expires next summer and given he is a young, bright talent with transfer value, if he doesn’t commit to Rangers then they may be left with no option than to cash in on him while they can.

The 22 year old winger has shown exceptional ability at points this season but across the piece has been inconsistent with his performances. Still, he is one of the brightest prospects at Ibrox and fans will hope that he can realise his potential in Light Blue and not elsewhere.

It’s a tricky situation and ultimately, should the player decide his future lies elsewhere then he could be off very shortly. For us though, we reckon he should stay in Glasgow for a while longer.
