Everton are searching for Ronald Koeman’s successor after sacking the Dutchman on Monday following a disastrous start to the season.

The final straw proved to be the 5-2 defeat against Arsenal at Goodison Park on Sunday, which left the Toffees in 18th position in the table and with just two Premier League wins to their name this term.

Having taken just one point from a possible nine in the Europa League group stages as well after a big summer of spending, the heavy home loss proved to be the end of the road for Koeman.

Meanwhile, Watford have enjoyed a positive beginning to the campaign and much of the praise has gone to manager Marco Silva, who took the reins at Vicarage Road during the summer.

Having made a positive impression with the Hornets and with Hull City last term, he could be the right man to take the Merseyside outfit forward.
