Three reasons Leeds should cash in on Nottingham Forest target Liam Bridcutt

According to reports in the Nottingham Post, out-of-favour Leeds United midfielder Liam Bridcutt is a target for Championship rivals Nottingham Forest.

The Nottingham Post says that Reds manager Mark Warburton is keen to bolster his midfield options and wants to bring the 28-year-old, who has less than a year remaining on his contract with the Yorkshire outfit, to the City Ground.

The report adds that it is not the first time that Forest have been interested in the Scotland international, having tried to sign him prior to his transfer to Elland Road when he was at Sunderland.

Despite being captain under the leadership of former United boss Garry Monk last term as the club narrowly missed out on securing a play-off position, Bridcutt has endured a tough start to the new campaign under Thomas Christiansen and he may now be considering his options.
